Tomato Red

Dress: Magali Corzo / Denim Jacket: H&M - similar here / Necklace: Forever 21 - similar here
Shoes: Luxury Rebel
Well, Im obviously on a red kick right now.
Yesterday it was deep red lips, today its a tomato red dress.
And speaking of this dress, I couldn't help but to feel very mod while wearing it yesterday.
All I needed to top off the look was a  blonde pixie cut,
think Twiggy or Mia Farrow in Rosemary's baby.

I would be remiss if I failed to mention that an amazingly talented
designer friend of mine, made this sweet little dress.

Her name is Magali Corzo,
a lovely lady from Argentina (big ups to some Latin flava) who seriously knows how to dress a woman. She uses the softest fabrics, that drape and hang, over the curves
perfectly.
Even the most dressy and elegant piece, feels absolutely comfortable and easy.
I know this first-hand because she created one of my most favorite dresses ever -
the one I wore on my wedding day.

My head may have been hurting from all the gazillions of bobbi pins shoved into my hair,
and my feet were most certainly uncomfortable from bustin a move all night in my heels.
But my dress remained light, airy, perfection - all day and all night.

You can check out some of Magali's pieces in her etsy shop here
and if you're local to the Portland area she sells a few pieces at Physical Element.

Black Cat

Panther Raglan: Skip N' Whistle c/o / Jeans: Gap / Boots: Aldo
Necklace: Forever 21 - very similar here / Lip: Revlon Matte Red

I'm a day behind with my outfit post this week.
I ran into some technical difficulties over the weekend, not electronic related,
it was more of a user malfunction (user being me).
I won't bore you with that story, instead I will give you a few details from my weekend, which is what I would have written about had I posted Monday per my usual schedule.

Things were pretty quiet on the home front, as the husband was in Dallas for work.
I got a bang trim, the big bottle of Yellow Tail Moscato was on sale - yes, I am also thrifty when it comes to my wine, I almost blew up the microwave with a jar of Peanut Butter (there were actual flames!), and the weather was terribly muggy so I wore a romper.
Obviously I'm not wearing one in these shots - instead I'm wearing this amazing Jaguar Screen Printed Raglan from
(how ya like that transition? Bam!).

This top makes me think of the days when I would wake early on Saturday mornings and watch Thunder Cats in my PJ's.

It also makes me think of Janet Jackson, in her Rhythm Nation days, singing Black Cat
hence the title of this post.

Two very different associations, but I like them both,
so it works.

Ok, enough with my random rambling - I've also run out of things to say.
Have a great Tuesday peeps.

And be sure to check out the Skip N' Whistle store.
They have a variety of super cute screen prints.

Currently Stalking: J.Crew Metallic Sandals

Alert! Alert!
Cute shoe sighting at J.Crew.
I have been totally stalking this shoe....

So good, right?
The price tag is a little, um, ooh... ouch!
Don't be surprised if these show up on a Don't Break the Bank post.
But maybe J.Crew will have a sale soon (hoping, fingers crossed!)

What item(s) are you currently stalking?

C
